One morning last week, I was glancing through The Stranger when I saw an ad for this new exhibit: Isamu Noguchi and Qi Baishi – Beijing 1930.

Since I had time, I went straight to the museum.
In 1930, Noguchi spent 6 months in Beijing. He studied ink painting with Baishi, one of the greatest artists to use this medium. It is a large exhibit of ink paintings, drawings, sculptures, and calligraphic works by these two influential artists.

I loved it. It was beautiful. I will go back soon.
