Sandwich

Take out at Cedars

February 11, 2015monpetitseattle Leave a comment

I picked up a Falafel sandwich and a Fattoush salad at the takeout window. The food is fresh, simple, and authentic. The Falafel sandwich is very filling for $4 only!

Walking distance from University of Washington and the Burke Museum.

Mamnoon on the go

December 17, 2014monpetitseattle Leave a comment

If you are around Melrose at lunchtime, stop and order a Mana’eesh at Mamnoon. Mana’eesh is a Lebanese flat bread filled with savory ingredients.
Man’oushe Za’atar: whole wheat bread, with thyme, tomatoes, salad, olives, and labneh (strained yogurt). It is so flavorful.
You can enjoy it at the counter or take it with you.
