Thursday is Guest Chef Night at FareStart and for this special evening, students work with a different Seattle’s Chef each week to prepare a special 3-course dinner.
By dining at the FareStart Restaurant and for $30 only, you can enjoy a great evening while also learning more about the FareStart program. A very special part of the evening is the graduation of 2 or 3 students and celebration of their accomplishment.
All proceeds from Guest Chef Night go directly back into the program to support the FareStart job training and placement programs.
Next month, on October 22nd, Jason Stoneburner, Chef at Bastille and Stoneburner (read my post about Stoneburner here) will be the Guest Chef volunteering his time with FareStart Students.
I really like this organization, a job training and placement program for homeless and disadvantaged individuals. You can read my previous post on FareStart.
FareStart Restaurant is open for lunch, Monday through Friday from 11am to 2 pm, and for Guest Chef Night dinners on Thursdays.
