Little Brother,A Great Spot in Kirkland

Exciting news! With Little Brother, you have now a new cool option for coffee and lunch on the Eastside. They also offer dinner, but I have not tried it yet.

I have been going to Deru Market for months and love them. It is always crowded for lunch, so I was super excited when I learned they opened Little Brother.

There is more space at Little Brother so it is easier to find a table. I like this space because it is really bright. The only con is that it can be really noisy at lunch time. But it is super quiet in the morning (they open at 7am). Because they offer free wi-fi, I am sitting there right now writing this post!

The staff is super nice, attentive, and welcoming.

Need some comfort food? Grab a pastry.

And last but not least, the food is creative and delicious, made with healthy, locally sourced, and seasonal ingredients. Salads, soups, tartines (open sandwiches)… everything is very tasty!

My favorite spot of the summer

Tomorrow is September 23rd: the official start of fall.

But just in case we have more beautiful sunny days like today, I wanted to share one of my favorite memories of this summer.

We went there for dinner with my family and out-of-town guests several times.

Why do I love this place? Two reasons: the location and the food!

On Alki Beach, on Harbor Ave, at the end of the Taxi Boat Terminal with a fantastic view of Seattle skyline.

Then the food! Korean and Hawaiian style, fresh and tasty.

Brunch at Tallulah

Tallulah offers a classic but tasty and fresh brunch in a nice mid-century Parisian brasserie environment. They have a great patio but unfortunately it is in the shadow around brunch time.

I am sure this place is very enjoyable at night with some cocktails and small plates to share. Have you been there?
