Rain City Burger

Super Bowl Weekend is here, it’s not really the time for fancy restaurants or cafés!
While the whole city is cheering for the SEAHAWKS, there is a place in town that always wears the city team’s colors: Rain City Burger. This is a very good place to have a burger.


You can order a MARINERS burger (Avocado, bacon, Cheddar cheese), a SOUNDERS Burger (Cream cheese, jalapeño, bacon, Pepper Jack cheese), or a HUSKIES Burger (Cheddar and Swiss cheese, caramelized onion, Rain City Hot Sauce).

If you are a really hungry Seahawks fan, get a 12TH MAN burger (Two beef patties, four slices of bacon, and two slices of American cheese!). They are really good and there are plenty of other unique options on the menu, even vegetarians burgers.

And of course when you are there, you can watch the game…

Joule is a Jewel

You don’t expect a restaurant to have a nice and warm design in a warehouse style building. Joule does. The decor is really stylish and I love the blue and black creative wallpaper.

The Asian fusion and Korean food they serve is creative and flavorful. Dishes are meant to be shared but make sure to save room for dessert.
I would recommend to make a reservation but if you don’t, enjoy the outdoor fire pit with a cocktail or a glass of whatever you like on a nice evening!

Sitka and Spruce

This is a place I’m always happy to go to. It’s located in the back of Melrose Market. The dishes are always very fresh and have great flavors. If you love veggies, then this is your place.
I love Sitka & Spruce especially when the weather is nice, because you can sit at the bar along the window. There is no view but you can enjoy the sun! You can also sit at the communal table with a bunch of friends or make friends there!
If you are hungry, remember that salad or veggies portions are not that big.
