Is it because the weather can be so gray that people around Seattle paint their houses in such luminous colors?
Regardless, I enjoy it.
From Alki Beach, to Greenwood passing through Ballard and Capitol Hill.
Sometimes, when you ride the bus in Seattle, you may be late, so you learn to leave earlier but then you are too early for your appointment… It happens! So where to go at 8am in the morning in the Denny Triangle? MR WEST!
This place is very nice and spacious. I like the bright lights and the plants all around. I felt very comfortable sitting there with plenty of nice photos to look at. Art is on sale if you are interested in buying one of the pieces.
One day I had a croissant that was so flaky and so good, that I asked the waiter if they were baked on site. I was not surprised to hear that they order them at Fuji Bakery! Another day I tried the savory yogurt. It was very original but tasty.
I am looking forward to summer time to enjoy the patio, if only there were less cranes and construction work in this area…

With cobblestone lanes, historic landmarks homes, beautiful tall trees, small parks, awesome views of Puget Sound, Magnolia, the marina, and the fisher terminal…
I took a very nice walk on a sunny Winter Sunday, from Kerry Park (you know its classic view of downtown Seattle), to West Prospect street, West Highland drive, West Garfield street, Parsons Gardens, historic Wilcox Wall, Betty Bowen viewpoint, and also West Kinnear Place.
Queen Anne Neighborhood is on a hill, which means your route is full of beautiful stairways. Enjoy!
