Olympic Sculpture Park

Chose a beautiful, sunny day to walk through Seattle Art Museum Olympic Sculpture Park and admire the Olympics in the distance.

I love the iconic Eagle by Alexander Calder but there are a lot more great modern pieces to admire.

Echo, the newly installed 45 feet tall sculpture by Jaume Plensa, looks peacefully out over Puget Sound, take a seat and you can do the same!

Cookies and Ice Cream

Hello Robin is a Cookie shop in a residential area of Capitol Hill.
They offer every day a different variety of cookies like Lemon glazed Poppy Seeds, Coconut curry apricots, Orange Snickerdoodles but also the classic Chocolate chip. My favorite? The Mackle’smore with Theo chocolate on the top.

Both the shop design and the nice baker make this place very welcoming. You can drink a great fresh drip coffee made upon order, sitting at the counter, where the baker prepares the next batch of cookies in front of you.

This is in partnership with Molly Moon’s ice cream so enjoy a nice ice cream sandwich!
– Nut free cookies all the time.

– Gluten free cookies also available and the baker is working on a new chocolate chip that will be available after Thanksgiving.

Ines Patisserie

Ines Patisserie has relocated. Open Wednesday through Sunday 8am-4pm, it is over the weekend that the Bakery offers a larger variety of pastries. Croissants, Madeleines, Palmiers… they are all delicious.

And worth to mention that there is not a huge abundance of places in Seattle where one can enjoy a very good Espresso. Ines Patisserie is one of them.
